Yusuf Sayed

Our company is led by Mr. Yusuf Sayed. He holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and an MBA from USB. He has acquired over 15 years’ professional experience in both the Engineering and Nuclear Energy Sector in South Africa.

During his professional career, he has successfully completed multimillion-rand projects in the Nuclear Sector yielding business safety, operational and financial gain to the organisation. A key achievement of note attained by him early on in his career to the engineering sector, includes the successful implementation and completion of the NID FGD technology project, that was the first of its kind technology installed on the African continent. This accolade achieved gains in reducing gas emission environmental impact, health and safety risks to plant, personnel and the public.

An Innovation award winner in 2015, for his undertaking and contribution to the Eskom, Koeberg Nuclear Power Plant to ensure adherence and compliance to the South African National Environmental Management Act (NEMA). He is committed to creating, implementing and delivering upon strategic business objectives while remains focussed to provide an exceptional standard of service to various clients and stakeholders

A visionary and problem solver by nature, developer of innovative solutions, imparter of experiential learning, an advocate of efficient and effective decision-making skills. He has been instrumental in the diversification of the Eskom Nuclear Revenue Stream Diversification by Strategy Development and leading the business offering to other emerging African Nuclear Energy countries seeking new nuclear power plant build programmes. In addition, he has also successfully led the pioneer strategic training initiative on behalf of Eskom with the collaboration of two other South African State Owned Entities (SOEs) to provide a two week developmental Nuclear training programme and logistical support for the Niger Governmental delegation.

As part of his passion based initiatives which includes training and knowledge transfer, Mr Yusuf Sayed undertakes a part time role as a Learning Process Facilitator and Faculty member to a renowned private company offering leadership & management development (short course) programmes across Africa for both corporates & individuals. His key focus areas include Leadership Development, Operations Management and Entrepreneurship.
